Wednesday Sunset Surf Sesh

Yesterday was such a fun day of surfing. This whole week was pretty outstanding for surf. A solid four days of surf! Our next potential swell is looking to show up possibly the middle of next week. Here are some photos from yesterday afternoon, Stay Stoked Gulf Coast!

Wednesday (4/9/14) Surf Update

It's been a fun week so far in the gulf! Surf in the chest high range as of 3:20 PM at Sand Key. With high tide at sunset it should continue to pickup and cleanup as the wind starts to settle down. Buoys are still showing solid swell off the coast so you should get a fun clean day tomorrow! Get it while it's here gulf coast surfers!

Tuesday afternoon sesh

Fun waves this afternoon at sand key park! Hopefully you got the chance to make it out there! If not, swell will still be solid tomorrow!

Tuesday Morning Update

The waves still haven't came in full effect YET... The beginning of the front is here and we will continue to get rain until about 1 PM Today. Local  high tide is at 10:08 AM. Low tide is At 1:15 PM. The buoys to the W/NW of the front (where the front just passed through) are reading 6 to 7 foot waves with a decent amount of time in between each wave set (approximately 7 seconds) So we know we will be receiving good swell starting early this afternoon. As of now waves are only in the knee high range at sand key park. With another extra high- high tide at 7:03 your best shot is to get out there at about 5 this afternoon and surf until sunset. Tomorrow morning we will wake up to big surf! Hopefully in the chest to shoulder high range! Get ready gulf coast surfers those fun GC waves you've been waiting on will be here soon enough!!

Monday Update

Goodmorning Gulf Coast surfers! Nobody enjoys Mondays but maybe this incoming swell will change that. The winds are increasing slowely. By this afternoon we should have smaller but still  surfable waves, I would go to your favorite sandbar break to catch some better waves. If you get to go out I would try to catch the incoming tide, high tide is at 4:51 PM at Sand Key. By tomorrow morning there should be very fun GC waves. With the swell peaking at just over 6 1/2 feet high mid-day Wednesday you better make it out there! That will be the day you want to make it out there if you had to choose. Saturday Report

Gulf was flat today but another gorgeous day in the sunshine state! Swell should still be arriving Monday and have rideable waves that afternoon and they should last throughout Thursday morning! Have a good rest of your weekend gulf coast surfers!

Friday Swell Update

Surf is coming Gulf Coast surfers! With the storms hitting soon up near the panhandle we are next! Winds should pick up Monday morning and as of now it's looking like we should have surfable waves by Monday afternoon. The waves are actually going to last longer than a day for once.. The surf is supposed to last Monday afternoon, Tuesday all day, Wednesday all day, and clean leftover on Thursday! Get those boards waxed up because there will be plenty of surf! If you're wanting to surf this weekend then you should definetly make it over to the east coast. There will be clean waist to chest high swell depending on the tide you surf it!
